Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Study Program Hosts Visiting Professor Lecture from Hong Kong

The Specialist Study Program in Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, is pleased to invite Professor Cecilia Li-Tsang Wai Ping, PhD, M.Phil, P.D.O.T., H.K.R.O.T., O.T(C), from the Faculty of Health & Social Sciences at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, to deliver a lecture and discussion on Burn Rehabilitation in Children on March 3, 2023.

The purpose of this event is to provide students and faculty members with new experiences and insights, as well as to enhance the quality of education and services in the field of plastic surgery.

Through this program, students and faculty members will have the opportunity to gain new knowledge and experiences from renowned experts and practitioners in the field of burn care from abroad. It is hoped that this will better prepare students and faculty members to face the challenges in burn care for children. The Visiting Professor program also opens up opportunities for collaboration between universities in different countries and provides students with the chance to participate in student exchange programs or research abroad.

The event commenced with an opening and welcome speech by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, representing the Dean and Acting Coordinator of the Specialist Study Program in Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K). Following the opening, the program continued with a presentation by the guest speaker and a case presentation on burn contracture in children by a student from the Specialist Study Program in Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. This was followed by a highly interactive discussion session involving all participants, including faculty members and students.
